You need for One hungry always on a diet Fashionista.
1/2 small onion1
tsp sea salt
1 small chicken breast fillet
80g soba noodles
100g broccoli, cut into pretty little florets
50g snow peas,
2 tsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted
2 long green shallots, trimmed and sliced diagonally
Miso dressing
2 tsp miso paste
1 tsp lime juice
Pinch of caster sugar
- Slip off new Burberry jewel encrusted dress.
- Pour a huge glass of wine immediately. Gulp
- Pour a wet drink too. A wet drink is a drink that is purely to quench thirst.
- Grab snow peas and slice as thin as a Chanel eye liner pen.
- Grab broccoli and cut into pretty little florets. Think Prada floral dresses as seen last week on the runway
- Pour 2 cups of water and pop the lonely little ½ onion and some organic hand harvested French designer sea salt into a small saucepan.
- Watch and wait till it boils. Wonder if Britney has ever cooked Soba noodles.
- Add the chicken breast and reduce the heat to low. Yes, you are now poaching the chicken in the hot water.
- Cover the saucepan and let the chicken simmer away gently for about 2 minutes
- Take the saucepan off the heat
- Keep it covered and set it aside to give the chicken a little introspective meditation time alone for about ten minutes.
- You want the chicken to just quietly cook in the hot water. How easy is that? Maybe Britney could cook this after all.
- This is a good time to whip up the sauce: so grab a bowl and whisk about 2 teasp of miso paste with 1 tbsp Mirin and some lime juice
- Now chop up spring onions into chic little pieces for accessorising before servingStick finger in and do a Nigella and taste it. Add more Mirin if need be.
- Go on toss in a pinch of caster sugar
- Remove chicken after ten mins and let it have another little rest and cool slightly
- Now cook the noodles as you always do.
- Throw in the broccoli and snow peas for the very last 30 seconds of cooking time. You want them crunchy.
- When cooked it’s nice to rinse the noodles and snow peas under cold running water to rid of any goo.Give it a good shake and drain
- Throw the noodles and vegetables in a chic white bowel
- Grab the chicken in your fingers and pull it apart. Piece by piece. Think ex boyfriend.Watch the nails.
- Now toss the shredded chicken in with the noodles and throw in the sesame seeds. Drizzle over the sauce and give it a good Accessorise with the chic spring onions and more sesame seeds. Even coriander might be nice.
- Eat and slurp alot. You are eating alone. and you will use more calories that way)
