Mince pies (makes about 24 ish)

I packet of butter puff pastry (the flat ones in layers)
2 jars of Macrobertson’s fruit mince
Some icing sugar
Butter for moisturizing the muffin tray (go and buy the non stick one)

Let the pastry defrost a little but not too much (it gets too hard to handle if it’s floppy)
Grease and moisturize a muffin tray or 2 with butter
Get 3 wine glasses in different sizes
Use a larger one to cut out the base of the pies
Use a smaller one to cut out and make ‘the lid’ of the pies
Use one for a delicious wine while you’re cooking
(Otherwise use cookie cutters)
Line the muffin tray with the bottom base pastry
Fill with about a teasp of mince in each
Put their lids on (You don’t need to squeeze together if you don’t want to)
Sprinkle with sugar
Bake in about 180 for about ½ an hour or until golden …might be less
Repeat till you have made dozens
Sprinkle with icing sugar

They look great wrapped in pretty paper and tied up with string (these are a few of my favourite things!)
