Hands up: who hasn’t been wearing earrings for years? Oh. I see. OK. Hands up which stylish fashionistas such as my good self haven’t been wearing earrings for years? Earrings were all over the runway for the resort and spring summer 09 shows. No, this doesn’t mean sprained ankles and models falling over. It means the earrings were on the models in many of the important shows from Marni to Louis Vuitton to Prada. This is new. This is on trend (so eighties: just add shoulder pads). This is perfect timing for the party season.
Look for earrings that are jeweled, big, bold and over the top long. Ignore small, mingy, non de la non earrings. Think Big. Think major Statement. Think my clothes are looking very recessionista how can I update my wardrobe. Think you want them.
