What: Chain strap bags
Why: Because a smaller shoulder bag suddenly looks new again after seasons of big, oversized bags. Because the retro Chanel look is back. Because who says the IT bag is over? Women NEED handbags. They are functional too you know.
Which: Look for bags with a leather and chain strap a la Chanel, or with a plastic or resin chain strap a la Balenciaga (above). Go for slouchy or structured , a shoulder bag or clutch.
Wear: With jeans, with pretty dresses, with slouchy man style pants. This is a bag that works anytime anywhere with anything. Sounds good to me.
