Because as Style.com writes “There was an erotic force to the Prada show that came out of the tension between covered-up shape and transparency, and an underlying, near-fetishistic darkness that steered the lace away from any sense of froufrou prettiness. Not quite goth, not quite dominatrix, it was an elusive thing to label”. Because it’s a trend that is creeping in and will be everywhere soon. Start investing now.
Wear: Keep this look clean and simple. Layer the lace shirt over a white Tee. Wear a black lace dress over a blue cotton shirt. Keep away from any jewelery. You don’t want to look like a Spanish widow. Wear with uncomplicated, luxurious and simple fabrics like cotton and leather. Wear with dark black denim. Mix up the textures. Wear with gladiator lace up statement heels. Wear one piece of lace at a time. Unless you are wearing Prada. Then anything is acceptable.
