The winter has really started. How do I know? Because the winter sales are on so it must be cold and rainy. Well that’s what we were taught at school. June means cold and rain. June means I must wear winter clothes. I must wear a coat. I must wear a scarf. It’s winter item du jour. But stripe scarves are everywhere so instead throw on one of the fabulous River Weaver hand woven mohair scarves I spied in Arte Flowers. In gorgeous, soft autumn colours they will look too chic tossed nonchalantly around your neck. Who cares if you expire with heat exhaustion. Vanity feels no pain.
