I love handbags. I have been known to spend hours window shopping on my Iphone just drooling over the latest handbags on net-a-porter and Barneys. I can spend days discussing them. It’s an obsession. My new infatuation (after the Celine bags) is the Rocco bag by Alexander Wang. As all serious fashionstas know it has been around been around since last year but it just seems to be quietly taking the role as the hot bag du jour. I mean how cool - and practical - are those studs along the bottom? I love the simplicity of the shape and the absence of any other glitzy hardware. I love the way Meridith Melling Burke from US Vogue and Blogger Hanelli wear it . Refinery29 calls the shot below ( left) the “perfect outfit”. Maybe. I have seen several sightings on cool girls in Sydney.
Now The Rocco bag is available in all sorts of colours and in suede as well as leather. It must be love. At least until I get to Paris in July. That’s when I will begin training in handbag shopping as an Olympic sport. …
