What: Ann Demeulemeester Lace Up Shoes
Which: These shoes are hot, hot, hot! I spied them in US Vogue where they were photographed a few times. This is unheard of. Never the same shoes more than once. Now it seems all the girls in the US Vogue office are wearing them.
Why: Because the lacing right down the front appears to lengthen the leg. Which nicely contradicts with the gladiator lacing choking the ankle. Because the heel is square so you can race around without falling over. Because the tough shoe still reigns.
Wear: With everything from classic pants to pretty dresses. Wear with shorts, with jeans, with black shiny leggings (thank you Marie-Amelie Sauve). Wear with love.
Where: The bad news — they have sold out everywhere around the world. Believe it: I have looked. Please don’t cry. The good news: they are now the item du jour so you can be inspired.
