For all Sydney-siders who think they need a passport and a valium to get to Homebush you can now relax. Ikea is now officially open in Tempe. Never heard of that suburb ? Bless. Neither have I. Let’s just say it’s near Alexandria and Botany. Which means you can pop into the Bally outlet store in St Peters on the way. Cheap but chic all the way there and back.

But I have been to Homebush Ikea (and that other shopping outlet DFO) Direct Factory Outlet and was thrilled to find the day I went that Oroton had 70% off everything in the store. Usually they are 50% off everything, this includes up to date stock that I saw in a certain department store recently.
Oh Ikea…there are just too many good buys to choose from! Maybe you could do an Ikea special and sift through the chicest things Fifi?
