Here’s my shopping philosophy. If you’re thrifty and save money on a few things then you can reward yourself. You get to spend what you saved on a something fabulous. Like a Balenciaga bag. I like to think that makes sense.
So this week I was thrilled to find that the Salvos shop has gone online and you can buy an amazing assortment of recycled and pre-loved clothes and homewares.
But wait: There’s more! You can also buy unused but ready to love beauty products for outrageous prices. Maybelline mascara $7.50, L’Oreal Minerals Blush $4.50 and one of my favourite products Garnier Anti Dark Circle tinted eye roll on for $4. SHUT UP!
Then sift through the clothes, homewares and accessories and you can find all sorts of quirky bargains galore , all online and ready to buy at a click.
Most importantly when you shop at the Salvos Stores, you help others in need. And because you’re buying recycled goods, it’s also good for the environment.
You got to love that.
