The FiFi Report 356

This week I decided to wander (more likely stumble in my stomp-a-licious heels) down Oxford st to finally check out The Australian Red Cross fashion store Red Threads which opened in April.  It’s a fabulous idea. They call it “modern recycled.” It’s an op shop with a groovy fashion angle and there are literally racks of vintage clothes all colour coded into different sections. You could spend hours in here. Of course I zoomed over to the black, brown and red racks and had a good snoop. I am pleased to say it is cheap but chic heaven.

What did I find?  A Country Road black silk shirt $29, a Chanel style black cream and grey jacket $29 and fabulous grey knit polo neck from a Banana Republic for an outrageous $10. Shup up! I saw a Burberry style trench coat (With the exact Burberry print lining) $45 and an Esprit double breasted stone trench ( I can’t help that addiction) $45. There was even a ZARA brown military style shirt jacket $25. Also check out the racks of scarves, shoes, sunglasses and shelves of kooky over the top jewellery. Fabulous.
Proceeds from store sales go to The Red Cross.
