I was snooping around sniffing out cheap but chic finds, as I do, when I decided to nick into Cotton on. And then I saw it. Could it be a fabulous boyfriend blazer with stripe lining for just $49? I had to try it on. What a winner. Slightly longer, it covers the sagging bits, and has just right size shoulder pads to give you a waist but not a Gaga impersonation. The fabric is in a chic jersey so it feels soft and easy to wear. OK, so it won’t keep you warm on cold days but it will keep you chic. The good news? It’s now reduced to $39. Outrageous. I had to have it.
Here are a few other versions of the boyfriend jacket you will love ( and how to wear them ) from Net a Porter .

Love the jacket and my local store even has a few but if your the other side of 30 and don’t quite look like the models, how do you wear it? Any recommendations for boyfriend jeans for those of us with larger thighs?
Love your work!
For those with a ’situation’ as I like to call it, on their hips you can wear this boyfriend jacket with jeans or chinos. It’s longer than the usual jackets so it should cover your bottom. Layer it over a soft knit or a long sleeve round neck Tee. You can wear a long scarf to cover the muffin situation and I love it with peg leg pants ( perfect to cover hips: I know). You should always push up the sleeves as that is the cool way to wear it. It might even work with a flirty skirt that sits flat on the hips and then flips out so it’s flattering ( and always with black opaques) .
