Witchery: New arrivals in store and the best buy are the shoes: Buy the classic round toe wooden platforms Lanvin heels (now seen just about everywhere) $149; the silver little T bar summer sandals; and the silver flat pointy toe sling backs $139 with a grosgrain bow. Sweet. In the clothes department it’s not looking so exciting; too many basics T and tops and not enough fashion pieces. Best buys are the puffa jackets, the stretchy wide elastic belt, the Roland Mouret style dresses $159 and the empire stripe tops. There is a chic tulip style wide pleat skirt $129 and a short, single breasted, one button short sleeve, crop trench jacket here too for $169. I see watermelon and pink. And yet I stayed instore hoping there may be other options. And there were: on the sale rack. There is 20% off already marked down prices. Go for the Prada style brown handbags now about $65; the slouch bags now about $60 and the simple black skirts.
David Jones Shoes: if you are after a Tods style driving shoe head to the label ‘Prego’ for cheap but chic loafers in black with white stitching and the rubber soul $110. Very chic but cheap. Urban Soul has done the exact copy , yes a copy, of the Miu Miu denim wedges with a tan bow on the toe $149, a very good I must say. Also check out the little ballet flats a la Chloe $149. Stella McCartney for Addidas: check out the store within a store at DJ’s. Lots to choose from here. Best pieces are the bikinis $70 for top and bottom in white and light blue; the one piece swimsuit $120 and the running tops in white with a built in bra $160. Nine West: There is a sale here. Go for the black peep toe heels with tiny studs al a Miu Miu now $79; and the chic gold and silver flat T bar flats sandals now $49. Perfect for next summer or your holiday in St. Tropez. Buy YSL style platform twist front 40’s heels in gunmetal now $79.

Check out the pinstripe white collarless oversized dinner shirt $159. The big oversized shirt was seen at Prada and Stella McCartney. It’s hot. Buy the side pocket chinos in cotton $169.
Scanlan Theodore: Always divine here. Buy the grey poloneck sweater $140; the narrow dark grey, light weight wool skinny pants $320; the grey knit tank $90 ( buy three) and the beautiful high waisted pencil skirt with its own little thin self belt – a great trans seasonal buy to keep wearing into next summer $350. It’s in a dark grey or black. Check out the amazing buttery leather short crop trapeze jacket $1200 in cream or tan to die for. So soft, just take it home and stroke it. And your credit card. In the clothing department the new Paul Smith collection has arrived. The best pieces are the very Chloe style cream antique ish lace long dress – a bit boho with a tie back waist - $1499 and a pretty light blue floral chiffon dress $1499. There are some chic suits in a pinstripe but go past the Pucci style dresses and the over top prints. I see bright spots and candy stripes before my eyes. It’s the preppy look.
