It’s a crazy time of year. It’s called fashion jet lag. Or just delirium. Or maybe it’s being cross eyed with joy.  What’s going on? It’s freezing outside. You are loving wearing winter clothes. But then you go online. Oh dear. There are so many divine designer summer clothes to buy. On sale.  Then you hit the shops: there are so many chic winter clothes to buy. On sale. You hyperventilate. You use every cell in your body not to buy everything. The credit card is exploding.  But wait: then you see the new (next season) winter collections arrive online. It’s so chilly outside. You are busting to wear them NOW. It’s official: shopping is torture. I mean which 50 shades of grey/white/navy/ do you choose?May I present this week’s top ten buys. Shopbop is having a major sale. Check out the Phillp Lim. Drool. Look at Marc Jacobs. Want. Then you scroll through the shoes. I zoomed in on these little numbers. (above).They are so chic. A little retro. A cute walkable heel. ( yes, a 3.75 inch heel is easy. Take a few nurofen and you’ll be ok.). Love brown and black together. Love with jeans or with a dress. Witchery Seam Detail Leather Tee-
It’s baaack! Yes, the black leather tee is doing another tour of duty at Witchery. I don’t have to tell you that it’s still a hot look and so very Celine. I think I go through that little scenario every issue of The FiFi Report. The thing is you can wear this right now to add texture and groove under jackets. Then come summer : Voila! It has a fabric back which I quite like. Makes it easier to wear. Love it with these great jeans from Bassike. Or any pants. Love this tee with shorts in summer. But I will pass on that look. Sad but true but my legs have gone on strike and don’t want to come out in public.  $199.95 Buy here.

Bassike Low Slung jeans
If you are sick of tight, skinny jeans then may I suggest these fab low slung jeans. They get all the ticks. Great faded denim, not too low or too high. A narrow ankle. Oh and the comfort! Can we talk comfort?! This jeans allow you to eat chococlate croissants . This is not probably not a good thing. You will love these jeans with heels ( see below) but they work just as well with converse or those Isabel Marant sneakers. I’m thinking these jeans are great for travelling too. Even if it’s in the car. To the shops.Bless. Wear with a leather tee for contrast. And you’ve got it. You can thank me later. Or now if you like. Just sayin. Drool handbag of the week : Balenciaga
With the Aussie dollar doing so well beating up the Euro or the pound now is the time to pounce on fabulous designer bags. Where to start?  In my mind if Celine is queen then Balenciaga is King. I bow/curtesy before you sir.  Thank you for a near perfect bag. It’s the right size. Diivne colour non? Not boring snoozy black . The quality is incredible. Plus it’s a go anywhere bag. This style of tote is very low key so you don’t feel like you’re all dressed up with a snazzy designer bag ( and nowhere to go). The hardware is subtle. I am in love. It’s $1000. See what I mean? SEEDFEMME Super Pleat Pretty Dress
One of the laws in fashion is that you can never have too many black dresses. Like a black hole. They go on forever. Scientific tests have proved it. True. So this week I was very happy to find this little Black dress at Seed. It tickled my fancy because it has a casual edge like the Balenciaga bag in that it’s chic and polished but not too jooshy. If you know what I mean. It has enough structure so that it gives good shape but it’s still loose enough to skim over the bits. And bobs. And Boobs too. The V neck is THE neckline. It’s the right length for fatty arbuckle knees like mine. It is great with boots and opaques right now under a coat. But so right later in summer. You need this dress. Hell, it’s $189. Shut up. Isabel Marant Isabel Marant Bekket leather and suede sneakers
Here’s the thing: I am aware all dags reading The FiFi Report ( bless) don’t acually know these Isabel Marant sneakers are the coolest things in the world. Who knew? Hopefully you! Probably not for everyone but sometimes it’s just good for you to know these things. You know, so you are not as daggy as you think. Now you are up with it. Marc by Marc Jacobs stripe bag:
All I can say is I love stripes. I love a stripe bag. I love a stripe beach/ day bag. I love a stripe marc by marc Jacobs bag on sale for £83. ( $126!)  A great way to inject a little fashion in your wardrobe. I love how they have styled it with a black dress and chic white sandals. It works. And so will this bag when you go on holiday in Cap Ferrat. It’s one of those bags you can thrash day after day and throw everything in and it will still love you and never complain . It will love summer. It will love the beach. (It’s plastic coated). And you will love it in return. For you now buy here

Bardot print pants
l think I’m a fashion victim. Yep, there are print pants in The FiFi Report. Again. I am sorry. It seems they are everywhere. So I’ve got whipped into frenzy . But there is also another reason to have a penchant for print pants. Celine actually showed them for Resort 2012. Eons ago see here ( note pointy shoes and tailored blazer) so it sort of sunk in that it’s ok to wear them. My advice? Best to buy now, thrash, then wave goodbye.  Note this particular pair are not tooo bright. A bit of fun. Anyway the idea is that you work them with these fab heels from Wittner. If you add heels then suddenly these pants look a lot of more polished .Especially if you squint your eyes too. I suggest dress them down on top. Right down. Stick to a low key sweat such as this Alexander Wang top. Or your fav simple white tee and black blazer. No really. Those two basics will adore being seen with floral pants. Adore. Oh and did I mention these mad flroal pants are just $79?. See anything is possible. Even going into Bardot. ( then you can add all those saved $ to the Balenciaga bag.)Buy here.

Wittner heels
The pointy shoe is hot. Repetez. A more refined shoe looks new. Don’t cry: you can still get another season out of your stomp -a-licous heel. ( Case in point: how many years I’ve been writing stomp-a-licious?!). The pointy look is edgy. I think these heels are just fabulous for $189. Perhaps a little too high to be running after the cat but just right for trotting out to dinner. With George. I love them with ripped slouchy jeans  ( see here ) and said print pants. Or chinos. For some reason they don’t work as well with a dress. Better with denim to dress down the snazziness of the heels. Again, if you have the legs then these shoes will look fab with short, shorts. You lucky thing.

T by Alexander Wang Cotton-terry sweatshirt
Hear ye, Hear ye! There is a sale on the Outnet of T by Alexander Wang. Fab pieces to buy from beach dresses to tees and tanks. ( Some pieces may have left the building by the time you read this; sorry.) If you are quick hot click it to the Outnet. T by Alex Wang is great for the price. Love this grey sweatshirt. The cool zip detailing on the neckline. The idea is that you wear these sweat tops with something chic. Dries Van Noten kind of started the trend seasons, seasons ago by putting sweat shirts with lurex and opulent fabrics. The look is still cool. Still current. Throw this top back with chic pants, pretty glitzy skirt and heels. Think about it differently. You could even layer it over a white shirt and a leather skirt.
