My challenge this week? To hunt down a fabulous cheap but chic winter , yes, winter wardrobe, available right now on sale and online ! Yes,  I have found lots of fabulous pieces to buy now and wear into next season. It can be done! You can shop and never have to leave your bed/office/sofa. You will be amazed. You will be astonished. You will scream with delight. You will jump for joy. Just don’t sprain your ankles in those wedges doing it.
NB: I have tried to find pieces that are actually available in most sizes so we can all share the love. Some pieces you have seen before but that they means they are even more fabulous and whole lot less expensive.

May I present FiFi’s top Ten sale buys to buy online to take you through to winter. (And yes, there is Prada in there…)

Witchery : Christina Snake Tote:
Love the massive sale on the website: Oh la la: It’s all here: from last season’s winter leather jackets to sweaters and Tees. My pick on sale is the cute snakeskin tote. It’s right on trend: snakeskin is hot and the stand up tote shape is still right for winter. Oh and did I mention it’s $59? Now that’s a bargain. You can toss anything into it. It’s actually in a canvas fabric so that makes it trans-seasonal. Means it won’t be too heavy either when you fill it with god’s know what.  There is a parka here on sale too for $49: it’s a huge trend for winter as you can see here fashion editors/bloggers rocking the look at Milan (men’s) fashion week. So cool.

Saba white classic shirt:
The classic white shirt will never go out of style. Yes, it does go in and out of fashion. But the good news is that shirts - and white shirts- are still hot for next season. You’ve got to love this little number in a lovely cotton silk : NB: It’s slightly sheer but that means you can flash the black bra under it . ( It’s that 90’s look coming back. True.). Wear with jeans/ chinos. Wear with those a mad, bad floral pyjamas pants that I never told you buy! But be afraid: watch out when wearing it back with a black pencil skirt.Someone will give you their drinks order. I say toss it back it with a leather skirt, suede shorts, or anything here. Now $63. Outrageous.

French Connection oversized blazer :
Psst: wanna know a secret? That oversized 80’s look is a coming back big time. I promise. I really promise. Next season you will be wanting to wear a big oversized shapeless blazer. You just don’t know it yet. It’s a big trend coming through in the pre fall collections ( see the Celine look here and you will see what I mean) . Anyway have I ever been wrong with my predictions? Answer is: NEVER. SO why not lash out and spend $36 on this snazzy pinstripe blazer. In 100% Wool,  so there! Yes, correct price of $36. Shut up. Wear with leggings and lace up flats like you your mother wore in the eighties.

Wittner shoes”
Loafers, Loafers, Loafers. You want. You need. You must have. Say aurevoir and double kiss those old thrashed ballet flats. It’s time for loafers. You knew that, of course, because last year loafers were one of FiFi’s item du jour. Wear the same way as you would your ballets flats. Yes, I like black patent. Just don’t wear with white socks, a hat and one jewelled glove. You might start dancing. You must know that Wittner shoes is having a MASSIVE “nothing over $59″ sale so get in there. Buy up on heeled loafers and any pointy toes for winter. That’s an order. $59.

Country Road black pleated long skirt:
The pleated skirt is a big, big trend. So is the long pleated Skirt.  This little number gets two snazzy ticks for doing two trends. You shall go to the ball. Perfect for winter with a short leather jacket and cute flat lace up boots. Love it with a sweater. Oh, and why not wear it right now with a cute white or grey tank and T bar sandals? Why not! I think it has a modesty skirt under it so keep calm, there’s no flashin’ your Britney. You will get seasons, darling , seasons of wear from this skirt. Was $99. Now for you: special price. $74.25 . Love.

Bassike Blue Blazer:
You know one of the FiFi Mantras when shopping:  ” A blazer is your friend”. Repetez after moi. “A blazer is your friend”. It will always give good shape. It will finish the look. It will add a little je ne sais pas. It will always be there for you. It will cover muffins arms. It loves a drink. Hic. I insist you go straight to the Bassike website for their fabulous sale and check out this blue blazer indigo. Yes, you’ve seen it before and now it’s on sale. It’s a winner for summer, Autumn, winter, spring. Ok, maybe not winter in Paris. But you get the drift. The good news is that this blazer loves black and adores brown. It does. That’s all you need to know. Now $250.

Jac and jack cashmere sweater:
I do love a cream/ white sweater against the face. It takes years off. Years. It’s like a fabulous light reflector. Who needs botox? ( I do when I put in my contacts and see the truth) . Love this cashmere sweater: it has a chic rolled hem and a ribbed neckline and cuff. It’s supposed to be slouchy, loose, relaxed and carefree. Just like your holiday with George Clooney in Como. Love this with everything from jeans, suede shorts (see below!) to a leather skirt. Yes, with a narrow sexy black leather skirt : too fabulous. Was $399  now just $199. Perfect for those weekends on the yacht.

Seed Heritage suede shorts:
Love and adore these fabulous caramel leather high waisted short shorts. What a great buy!  Now $74 ( from $399.). You could rock the look with heels and a cute short jacket or a knit. I know,  I wish I had the legs to wear them too. It’s not about age it’s about size. Elle Macpherson could wear these. Bu then she is a mutation of the species. Maybe with black opaque hosiery you could rock the look…a fabulous buy for those who can. Bless.

Collette diamante earrings:
I spy with my little eye something beginning with S. That’s sparkling, sexy and $6. Yes, you read right. Six dollars. See, you can look a million dollars. See, you can get a complete winter wardrobe for almost nothing.  You can.  Just click “add to bag” and these gorgeous Diamante Fan Drop Earrings are yours . FYI : Prada showed a lot of drop jewelled earrings in her last show as you can see here. Meaning? When the God of fashion declares it to be true then it is. It’s officially a big trend. The idea is to wear earrings like this for day : with jeans, with a cute summer dress and sandals. Just like Muiccia does. Anyway what do you want for $6.47 ? I mean your soy latte is more expensive. French Vogue is twice the price. Just saying.

You know you want it. A Prada bag is really all you need, want and lust after. And now you’ve saved so much money you can head straight to my fav handbag website and get shopping. Bluefly always has the best selection of designer bags at about 30% less than retail. Yo dude! Now you’re talking. I mean really, why would you go into a store and buy any designer bags at full price these days when you can find it for nearly half price here? Case in point: The YSL muse bag is $3100 in David Jones. Here it’s about $1500. The lucky Chyc bag is $1200 instead of $2600. True. It’s alot of money honey for you’re worth it. Anyway here’s a tip: the selection changes every day so you have to be quick ( this bag may have left the building) so you need to drool over designer handbags. Every day. Sorry. $1,320. Divine. It’s the perfect bag. Small, square, across body, red and Prada.Thank you.
