I am obessed with handbags.  I spend my life drooling over designer bags online. is there anything more relaxing with a glass of wine? Perfect for weekends, beach and for just generally dagging around on the weekends. $62! And free shipping. FYI the stand up tote is still the hot bag shape for next season. Oh another FYI: The cute Marc by Marc Jacobs are actually more than half price of what they are selling for in David Jones ( No wonder retail sales are down). Just saying.

Country Road red pants:
You gotta love red pants. I have been ranting and raving about them for about a year now. And they are still hot for next season. You know what I say about a hot trend: wear it, love it , thrash. Say goodbye. You want these new red pants because they are in a chic fabric and the cut sits really well. The great thing is that you can wear these right now even though they are new season. Love back with neutrals and brown. Love with white. Prefer those colours than wearing them with another bright colour. Though red and pink is so YSL . Which means LOVE. $129.

Trenery denim Skirt :
The denim on denim look is big at the mo. It’s kind of cool but can be tricky to pull off if you are over 35. Bless. I say just stick to one denim piece like a denim skirt. You want this number from Trenery because it’s the perfect day to dinner . This shape is so 70’s and so Stella Mcartney last season. Which is a good thing. Love this skirt with a simple tee. With a top that’s tucked in. Love it with wedges, with flats, or in winter with boots and a coat.. Don’t you love something that is trans seasonal? Don’t you love it when it’s on sale for $44? PS. It’s supposed to be worn sitting on the waist. That’s where everything is heading next season. Au revoir anything low rise.Get used to it. Just saying.

Bonds Tees
Love Bonds. Love this stripe Tee now on sale for $14. It’s selling out fast (but they are also in David Jones) so if you miss out then invest in a classic white swing tank ( it will skim over muffin tops and Magnum icecreams on the hips) and it’s perfect for layering under everything. Also you do want the simple grey marle Tee. It may be a scoop but the thing is that these Tees cut in nicely at the bottom of the neck which is tres flattering. These little tops work right now with white jeans, red jeans, shorts etc. Also fab for winter with a black leather skirt and a trench. You know the drill. $34

I saw these fabulous sandals instore before Christmas and I see they are still available online. How fabulous. They get all the ticks: Tan.  tick. Comfortable. Tick. Chic double ankle straps. Tick. No icky annoying straps between your toes. Tick. Very Blaenciaga inspired. Triple tick. They will work with every colour in your wardrobe. They are $59. OMG TICK. Go to the top of the class. Yes, also in black.

Witchery white Lurex scarf;
Here’s the thing: A summer scarf is not about keeping warm. But you knew that because it’s oft repeated here at The FiFi Report. I love a little joosh of accessory to take you from dag to dude in summer. Throw this scarf oh so, nonchalantly around your neck over a simple T and you look instantly more ’south of France’. I am loving the sales: if you are clever you can find pieces that will take you through to next season. Lace is a huge trend coming up big time for winter. Which is why you must have this divine black silk lace front blouse now on sale for an outrageous $47. Shut up! It has beautiful baggy poet’s sleeves and a lovely neckline. Best news? You can wear right now. Toute suite. You won’t die of heat exhaustion. Remember this blouse can be for day ( Please ditch the idea of balck lace as a special going out at night look) . Love back with jeans, taupe or grey chinos or back your new red pants from Country Road. Or if you have the legs throw it back with shorts and heels. For winter it will adore going out with a leather skirt…

K Mart Nyon Sporty jacket
I was having a snoop in K Mart and stopped dead in my Balenciaga tracks when I saw this navy sporty zip nylon jacket :WITH A HOOD, for AN OUTRAGEOUS $8. Everyone keep calm! That’s not a typo: this jacket is only eight dollars.I was almost hyperventilating with delight.  It’s in the kids section but the sizes go up to 16 I think. I had to have one! Sporty couture ( read anorak) is the big buzz word for next season/ summer . It’s so perfect for wearing right now if it’s a bit chilly ( yes, Melbourne I am talking to you) and then into winter. It’s a chic narrow cut . You could even belt it over a pencil skirt. Who da thunk?! Also while in K Mart I suggest you buy the stretchy racer back tanks for $5. Yes, I repeat five dollars. Is that even legal ?

But wait these’s more ! White sandshoes from K Mart.
These sandshoes are so chic. I love simple, white unadulterated, no logo style. So since you have made the effort to snoop around K mart you may as well stock up on these fab classics. Love with a dress, with shorts, with your cute rolled chinos. So right for the beach. So right for the boat. So right for my trip to Borneo and Bali next month. True! A must buy? Why? they are $6. WTF. I mean really. ( oh and they are machine washable).
