It’s sale time! Where do I start?
So many things to try on.
So many things to buy.
So many things not to buy.
Be afraid. Very afraid. It’s so easy to be whipped into a frenzy and buy things because they are, well, cheap. What? Moi? Buy something just because it’s cheap?! STOP right now thank you very much:You need to buy bargains with a human touch.  By that I mean don’t waste money on ten $40 tops when you could have that fabulous bag for $400.  So please show some discipline. I know you can. Just like you never ever eat chocolate. In bed. Watching re-runs of SATC.

So I have been shopping like a maniac in Manolos this week and I have singled out a few pieces in each shop which I think are worth buying.
Remember to think about what’s hot for next season: Darling, you want to get mileage out of that wardrobe. Bang for the bucks. Buyers remorse? Not you you honey! Next summer ( and winter ) is all about wedges, high waist wide leg pants and blazers and stripes. Oh and bright bags and shoes. ( Black, grey, chocolate brown and navy are always in: Phew).

Witchery:
I love the black leather straight pencil skirt. LOVE. Now $99 . Leather is great for winter but also for summer :it’s a huge trend that is not going away. And if it does it will send you a postcard. So how to wear a leather skirt in summer?  With a white Tee and brown legs. This is a very chic and simple skirt with a flattering shape. It actually sits on my fat knees. How do I know? Because I tried it on. Right now we love it peeking out from under a big chunky jumper a la Celine. check out the look here.
Also buy the black snakeskin pointy toe pumps. Pointy toes are coming back and this texture is a  more interesting look don’t you think ? Wear with your rolled up red jeans. Now $99.

Seedfemme:
Love the navy velvet blazer. So YSL. So not black. So great to wear with black. Now $169. Love it with grey chinos and a stripe tee. Adore it with black peg leg pants and a cream blouse. Love it with jeans. Perfect to wear out to dinner jacket with jeans and your pointy toe heels.

Betts;
Yeh ,Yeh, your mother always said to buy expensive shoes but darling that was waay back when cheap shoes were never groovy.That was when cheap shoes were daggy.  But now everyone is inspired by Gucci and Prada as soon as it hits the runway. So check out the Brown suede shoe booties with knit rib lace up and platform now $89: Wear like Sylvana ward Durret here (from American Vogue.com ) , so cool, with stone chinos and a brown leather jacket. Love. HINT: remember the chinos have be rolled up and there should be almost a gap before the top of the boots. But you knew that. Also how can you go past the grey suede kitten heel laceups now $49? You can’t.

David Lawrence:
Please head here for fabulous poloneck or boatneck rib knit sweaters now $79. HINT: Rib knits skim but don’t cling on the almonds croissants sitting on your hips. This is a good thing. This is a great basic to wear under your fur vest. Plus the rib knit poncho is fabulous, as I have mentioned, for winter : not on sale but you will live in it : so shut up and buy one. You can eat all you like and no one will ever know. About $149.

Nine West :
Check out the brown suede lace up shoe boots now $169 and the fabulous peep toe buckle heels , see below, now $119. Love any of these with skirts or pants. A brown shoe is a great way to add groove when you are a dag. Plus with a rubber sole it makes it softer to shop all day in these heels without being admitted to hospital.

Trenery;
Everyone needs a green Khaki cargo/ utility pencil skirt . Everyone. It will work right now in winter with a dark grey knit sweater and black leather jacket. Love with black opaques and lace up shooties. Cotton is like that. It works for any occasion. You can see it below. When summer comes around you can toss it back with a grey marle tee and your Celine brown wedges. Now $59. A fab slimming cut. A perfect length for those who don’t show off anything north of the knee cap.  I promise.

French Connection:
You have got to love a military jacket: You have got to. Why? Because it’s sharp and chic and you can wear it undone but it will still cover the muffin top. It gives good shape. It’s always in fashion. Check out the fab navy wool twill peacoat now $249. This is the kind of jacket you can wear with jeans, chinos or with shorts. A winner.

Business class;

Ck jeans:
Love the the big chunky knit drape black cardigan : very over sized, so fabulous for those weekends away now about $126. Love the jeans here as well. George Clooney will love the menswear. He has great taste.

CK Calvin Klein:
There is up to 50% off: I see racks of divine grey and black. I see a gorgeous black waiters twill jacket for $260. I see beautiful grey knit sweaters from $160. I see black Peg leg pants $190.  I see outrageous slashed prices and fabulous, fabulous quality. I see a whole new wardrobe. ADORE! BTW minimalism is back and you can not go wrong with anything here. EVER. ( OH and the men’s grey Tee’s are about $50: shut up: you need one for wearing under everything)

Max and Co:
I love Max and Co: Again,  the quality is fantastic for the price.Fantastic. It’s European darling. There are chic knits for about $180. I adore the black leather flirty skirt with a ruched waist ( good for expanding after guzzling fries and steak Bearnaise) now $231!  Repeat after moi: Black leather is perfect for winter and summer.  Repetez; Repetez;  Also I think you should try on the chicest black velvet blazer : Now $360. Wear with a stripe Tee and jeans and push up the sleeves. You are now Ines de La Fressange.

AG Arthur Galan;
If you had to buy one thing here it would have to be a navy or black wool melton sleeveless long very Celine inspired jacket. Oh why does one adore this? Because a sleeveless jacket is great for trans seasonal dressing. That means it can work summer or winter. Now about $350. Also the print dresses here are fabulous. Yes, that is now two things. OK,  One more: Love the black soft wool melton military coat . It’s collarless. It’s chic. Aye Aye Captain.

Country Road:
The sale is pretty major and you can buy alot online which you may not find in the shops. Isn’t that nice? You can sit there and not move from your bed, I mean desk, and get a whole new wardrobe. I suggest the need the black “leather” style cotton pencil jean skirt now $89;  nd the cotton military shirt in navy now $59. You wear these shirts out over your jeans ( not tucked in)  if you didn’t know. You probably didn’t because that’s why you are reading The FiFi Report. Bless. But Hello!
