It’s backstage at FiFi’s style session !
This is the show I have been presenting on stage this week at Westfield Burwood !
Now I can share with you all the cute backstage shots of each outfit which we snapped doing the fitting on the gorgeous model Angela. Even without hair and makeup Angela looks fabulous! (But please excuse the bad lighting and some of the fuzzy shots ) .
In each style session one item is always worn twice: so we start with slouchy grey pants then those pants are worn again in the next outfit in a different way and so on.
The idea is to build a wardrobe and make those pieces work many ways: who wears one piece just once and one way? We have to get mileage out of our wardrobe!
So if you had a million dollars and a stylist you can wear a different color every day: who cares if you ever see it again. If you are on a budget and you have to build a wardrobe it’s important to stick to the colors that go together and which look expensive such as black grey , brown, camel and cream. You can’t go wrong!
This is cheap but chic heaven…

Hi Fifi! i love the pics! and the fashion tips - here are some of my comments…
Outfit one - Grey OTT it needs a pop of color with bag/accessories, this aviator style is over the top - need a toned down drape version rather than all out burberry from last season
Outfit 2 - top marks
Outfit 3 - a bit try-hard i’m afraid - bag style more structured that the look - get rid of the hat and bag and throw over a violet cross body and woosh-ka-wow!
Outfit 4- cute - change the bag - slouchy hobo ain’t working - smaller, funkier I would love the jacket in a long-style vest
Outfit 5/6 - i am not feeling that portmans skirt - leather needs to be lean and a-lined, not frou-frou - makes the look messy and she’s put on 10 lbs…uh, those boots don’t go either. that witchery top is nice but does not go here…
Outfit 7/8/9 - like the gilet in longer, that’s about it - only like outfit 8- those khaki pants are nice, but jacket doesn’t fit the look…
Outfit 10/11/12 - yum, yum and yum -classic, simple, fun, get a smaller bag - try mustard, wine red and eggplant ….

Do you think the sequinned dress would also work with a stiletto ankle boot? I have something similar and intend on wearing it this way - a little more winter friendly I thought.
Yes yes of course! Ankle boots would be cool! We had this as the finale style dress of the show which is why the shoes!
