Peeptoe Shoes:
Head here for fabulous jewellery at great prices; I think the shoes are pretty expensive for the quality don’t you think? But the jewellery is fantastic: it looks way more expensive that it is.
My picks are :
- The fabulous and very Lanvin inspired over the top jeweled rhodium, perplex clear pendant : it is a mix of material but as you can see it has a amazing variety of diamante and a silver chain: it’s not a long pendant so it should be worn with a simple backdrop of plain colours : better to show it off. The big drama necklace is still a big fashion trend and it’s the best way to update all your classics without breaking the bank. Or looking like a dag. God forbid. $119.
- You should also buy the crystal Art Deco Pendant Necklace : it’s long and so chic : A little more casual when the pendant is longer : it looks as though you have just nonchalantly thrown it on. Voila! Comme ca! Love its diamond shape and all the silver diamantes in the art deco look. $59. You could wear this with a white shirt and shorts and of course heels a la Gwyneth: Even with jeans and heels it would rock.
- Love the multi silver beaded, short necklace on a black ribbon: again if you wear it longer it will look less formal: Love the idea of wearing these jewels with chinos or shorts : dress down the glitz baby! $89. You need no other jewels.
- Also check out the divine diamante drop earrings for $69 (above) and the fabulous faux snakeskin black clutch bag ( also in leopard print!) $110.

Sportsgirl;
For party wear I suggest checking out the accessories here rather than the clothes: you can leave that to the teenagers. Bless:
My picks are:
- The fabulous ‘black widow; drop earrings: it’s about the drop earrings this season: Just make sure you ditch all other jewellery: you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree! keep it clean and understated: think French style. Not Paris Hilton. $29
- Buy the over sized jewels on a ribbon bib necklace: yes, we have seen these now for seasons and seasons (thank you Prada for starting the trend) but the look is still right and what do you want for $29? Again you must keep it simple when wearing big necklaces. They want all the attention and the rest should take a back seat. This would be great with a simple black dress.
- For something a little different you should buy the big purple stone ring $19 and the chic raw stone ring in a dark green and brown stone. $39. You can get away with wearing a few big chunky rings especially if you have lovely fingers. It’s a chic and dramatic way to get a strong look with accessories. I die! It’s what Rachel Zoe gets right.
- In the bag department: check out the over top black pleather embellished small bag : it’s called the “Armour” bag probably because it looks a little like a weapon with oversized jewels and studs. Perfect little something if you are on a budget to jooosh up the outfit . perfect little weapon to steal the night away. $39
- Yes, there is also a black jeweled ‘Armour ‘ dress : it’s sleeveless with bejeweled silver top and a black skirt : very party ! $149.

French Connection
Always great here for relaxed party pieces…
My picks are:
- The over top sequin, full on sheath dress with sequin flowers: yes, it takes guts to wear it but who knows? Maybe you do have the occasion. Perhaps Oprah has asked you to dine with her at the Opera House. The dress has a boat neck, short sleeves, and a back zip and hook fastening. $349. No, this is not economy prices but the shop is! Wear with heels and absolutely no jewellery and classic hair and makeup. Keep it simple.
- Love the black, sleeveless, jersey tee top with low scoop neck, and sequin detailing at shoulders. It has a T-bar back, draped from the front into a subtle bubble hem.: it’s longer than a normal top but very short as a dress. An easy top to wear with skinny jeans or shorts. see below $119.
- You want the grey Grecian style jersey dress with gathered shoulder detail and subtle bubble hem. it seems to be a great length in that it’s not too short and you get a bit of leg coverage. The one shoulder look is still strong into next season : and this would look great with a blazer just sitting over the shoulders. Please wear with heels : gladiator style is Ok but that means you must not carry a sword or a shield $129.
- There is another dull orange Goddess style dress in crepe: it has a little v-neck shoulder and waist details: Yes, a little bit of orange looks chic with black heels….$119
- I see a great top on sale; woo hoo! It’s a black and silver sequin top with a round neckline , ¾ sleeves and shoulder pads. You are getting used to shoulder pads I know you are. Now you can see how the make your waist look smaller. Yes, please. On sale now $69.

Great fashion shoes here at great prices..
My picks are:
- The fabulous mirror, black suede open toe heels: oh la la they have a swirl of mirror buttons across the front : very dramatic and why not? It’s time to have a party on your feet! As you get older you can go crazy with shoes and maybe not so much with clothes. These mad little number fit the bill non? see below $129.
- You want the blush patent strappy heels: they say that blush pink (or nude as they call it in the fashion industry) is a great colour to wear to give the illusion of lengthening the legs. You must, of course, keep your legs nude so that the same colour goes from thigh to toes. Also it’s a great non colour to wear for summer as it’s a neutral so will work with all bright colours (if you insist on wearing them). But remember cheap colours + cheap fabrics= cheap. And you know, as I always say, we do not want FiFi Report readers looking cheap $179
- Check out the fabulous black peep toe pumps with an amazing gold fan back : so chic and so art deco: These are very flattering on the foot and look very Marc Jacobs inspired. Perfect with a little black dress and your Gold Elsa Peretti cuff. $239.
- Love the black patent platform pumps with silver metallic leaf details on the side of the shoe: Yes, a little different and why not? They will instantly update the wardrobe: Watch as they work wonders with crop black pants or a chic little dress. Everyone will talk about them. $139
- Also for some fun for evening wear I think you should have the black or flesh peep toe heels with a wings up either side of the ankles; Simple and understated and not very gladiator-ish: That means no ankle strap: they are very flattering and perfect if you have cankles $239. Chic!

Mimco:
Yes, it’s all about accessories for party dressing!
My picks are:
- The fabulous drop diamante silver earrings: They say they are ” vintage 60’s inspired Nouveau” made from antique silver plated pewter and clear diamond Swarovski crystal encrusted textured twists.” Lovely and not too glitzy. As I have mentioned earrings are making a comeback which is probably a surprise to you because you didn’t know they went away. Bless: Keep reading The FiFi Report and you will find out all sorts of fascinating things. now on sale $119.
- Love the facet drop earrings in silver in the shape of a tear drop: But don’t cry they are so chic: It’s “Antique silver plated pewter and setting with central Swarovski crystal” …so there. Love with everything in your wardrobe: from jeans to a little black dress. Even with digital prints. Just ditch any necklaces when wearing earrings: it’s too much. Now $95.
- Buy the very fashion oversized ring: it’s a ‘ Towering pewter base with imitation rhodium plating is encrusted with clear crystal and sits upon an adjustable ring base” : I couldn’t have described it better myself ! Love a big dramatic ring: Look at Rachel Zoe : she is always tossing her hands around with dozens of rings on each hand. But don’t let that put you off! Now $119
- Check out the evening bags: My pick is the faceted tux clutch ( say that quickly!) and it’s tres chic. You know the clutch is all you need for evening so that makes life easy non? I like the texture of snakeskin style embossed leather, there is a chic silver turn lock clasp and yippee! an optional gunmetal snake chain shoulder strap. Perfect for hanging your bag over the chair at restaurant ( otherwise where do you put your clutch? ).now $239
- You want another over the top necklace? Head here for the very fabulous ‘Pearl by night’ necklace: oh, la la It has an ‘an eclectic mix of leaf, fine twist, hammered curb and satin backed disc mesh chains mixed with ivory glass pearls, faceted crystal nuggets and crystal cup chain in clear and black diamond. Filigree crystalled motifs on each side frame the piece..’ You can see it here. Wear with aplomb! ow on sale $263.

David Jones:
There are so many great party pieces here but I have chosen a few of the best;
My picks are:
- The fabulous D & G black lace, shoestring, fitted sexy mama sheath dress: it has a kind of drape on the side for a little added detail. With this dress you want to keep the accessories simple: Too much glitter and you will look like Madonna 1983: this is not a good thing. Just a dash of red lipstick and heels darling , always heels, $1299.
- Love the D & G black tuxedo jacket; yes please! It’s in black satin with 2 single breasted buttons: A must buy: this season it’s all about the man-style tuxedo dressing or you could call it Le smoking. So French. So YSL. So right with a classic black pants and nothing under the jacket except Chanel no 5. $1139.
- Buy the DVF black wrap dress in a jersey with fabulous black chiffon frou frou chiffon leaves as sleeves: if you know what I mean: its pieces of chiffon floating out from the shoulders like wings. Divine $999. there are so many fab DVF dresses here too in other colours.
- Check out the Vanessa Bruno: yes, that label has arrived here in DJ”s and that’s great news: Buy the blush chiffon dress with cutaway on the shoulders. Chic! $799.

- Buy the divine See by Chloe black sequin tank : it’s all you need. Love this over a white tank, love it with jeans, love it with stone chinos or black shorts. A must buy because you can dress down a sequin tank whereas a sequin dress is very snazzy and a little limiting. A sequin tank can be dressed down. $359
- There are fabulous dresses here: Try Camilla and Marc for gold lurex, Easton Pearson for colour, and Lisa Ho for black drape jersey.
