It’s a FiFi style session !
This is the show I presented last week at Westfield Burwood and the cute backstage shots we snapped as we were doing the fitting on our gorgeous model Angela. Even without hair and makeup Angela looks fabulous! (But please excuse the bad lighting).
In each style session one item is always worn twice: so we start with a little grey Tee from Sportsgirl and then it’s worn again in the next outfit a different way. ( In fact you can see the grey marle Tee is indispensable and is actually worn 3 different ways).
The idea is to build a wardrobe and make those pieces work many ways: who wears one piece just one way? We have to get mileage out of our wardrobe!
This is cheap but chic heaven…

Hi Fifi, I loved reading the style session above. I have a question. I have a pale grey Marcs buttoned shirt dress which I wear with a wide red leather belt at waist, red patent Zensu wedge sandals and a dark grey Furla patent handbag. Is that too matching? What colour necklace (beads) should I wear, if any. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds good; I think not having bags & shoes matching is good. Plus I think red belt and shoes could be ok too. Ditch the beads & wear stacks of bangles instead. Or go for a long pendant. Hope that helps!
The outfits you’ve shown are fab and I do get the whole high heel thing honestly, but what should we wear when we want to dress down a bit. How are we going to wear the flat sandals that are around? Especially with pants.
I love when you show us how to put key looks together. We all must try to get more mileage out of the items in our wardrobes and just add key pieces to update it. I need to learn this lesson as my wardrobe is bulging!
Great article- always love help in the mix and match department so I get more use out of what I buy and what I already have.
I love the way u have rolled up the pant to show the shoes (shoes are my drug of choice) but I am so short 5″1 or 154cm, can I carry that look???
Thanks ! yes rolled up is the way to wear these trousers with heels: if you are height challenged it’s better to wear shorter pants or dresses because it draws the eye up ! Go for it !
