I see there is a sale in store Woo Hoo ! and online with a lot of fabulous bargains: You want the grey suede wrap wrap vest now on sale for $149. So very Rick Owens Not on sale but, of course, you want it: the ‘toffee’ trench. Because I am a trench addict and I know what to look for: Love double breasted, love the colour, love the length and love the buttons. Ok, if you are good you can buy in black too $199. K-Mart:
I spy with my little eye a fabulous grey wool peacoat: For you : it’s cheap but chic for about $69. It has black buttons and epaulettes. Wear with over the knee boots and a cute little flirty skirt. Wear with skinny grey jeans and stomp a licious heels. Wear to work over a chic little knit Tee and a pencil skirt. it’s a winner. ( I will post some shots on FiFi’s blog soon of more cheap but chic finds! )

You need a jacket this season so you should buy a peacoat. As discussed in K- Mart a peacoat is a great jacket for winter. So French. So chic. So nice in grey to lighten up the black and silver. Or cute over a floral dress. Or with jeans . This is soft wool and looks like good quality. $219.
Portmans
Always worth sneaking in here and ignoring the red walls and bad lighting. God knows how that can make anyone want to buy anything. Buy you will love the stripe Tees $49, the soft beige wrap Rick Owens style jacket $129 and the short leather skirt $129. The pale suede jacket is chic and so nice to wear right now with summery stone chinos and brown heels.

Love an over the knee boot. Love an over the knee flat boot. Love an over the knee flat boot called FiFi; Nuf said ! $219. Wear with a flirty skirt, wear with shorts. ( as you can see in the main shot in Witchery with the hat and camel coat). You can tuck them in with jeans but I prefer a skirt. Swashbuckling sword optional. Betts shoes:
Adore these fabulous black suede heels: Not too gladiator and quite chic non? the criss cross straps actually are not cut too high across the ankles so there is no cankle situation. For those people blissfully unaware: a cankle is a chunky ankle. Love these shoes with anything in your wardrobe including your track pants. Yes, you read right: Including your track pants $129. I’m always on the lookout for new shoes for the season to take me through from day to night. And all day shopping. Well maybe these Phantom black suede heels ankle boot with a peeptoe won’t make it through a day of shopping. Actually the boots might but my feet won’t. A lot of gorgeous clothes here this season: My pick would be grey wool melton, very 80’s, asymmetrical double breasted zip jacket $480. It has double zips for double eighties inspired snazziness. Also buy the divine wool Melton double breasted long fitted vest in a dark grey. It’s very long so is it coat dress? It’s sleeveless with tiny shoulder pads hidden under the shoulder $650. Wear with leggings and boots or with a flirty skirt. Layer over a Tee. Quite the chicest thing I have seen for at least a couple of hours.
Sambag:
There is a whole lot of new bags arrived: My pick is the Celia Slate Quilted Leather Bag. It’s very Lanvin inspired. This is a good thing. Love the grey. ( buy a grey bag this season please) and love the quilting, love the one strap shoulder bag $220 . Marcs:
You need the cool wool melton camel double breasted coat : or it is a jacket? It’s a kind of eighties and it’s fabulous. $399. Camel is the hot colour and it’s about to appear on the fashion horizon so why not get into it right now? You can see that look in the Witchery photo. Next winter it will be everywhere. Saba :
If you are still hankering after a sequin tank then head to Saba for the gold khaki or silver sequin, loose tank $299. I quite like the shape: it’s not too tight or scoop neck. Love it over a white tee or tank. Don’t forget there is a new minimalism happening next winter ( first seen at Celine) so don’t go crazy with the embellishment. But don’t hyperventilate : keep calm, you can keep channeling Anna dello Russo for a couple more months yet.
Jigsaw
It’s the season of the peacoat: Love this one in that it is slightly shorter than the others. Lovely quality and a simple cut in black for you $ 299. I see a black and white print ‘ Micha’ dress that has cool big puff shoulder/sleeve detail and a round neckline ( not a horrid scoop) $ 299. Love this with heels and a fabulous necklace. Put more shoulder pads in to give it a boost.

- The red pointy toe platform heels in an amazing eel skin. $875. Love a red heel for extra punch. These are textured so have an interesting detail to them.
- The divine caramel flesh suede shoes boots with a peep toe and a patent trim are a must buy. Oh la la they sit up like a boot to the ankle where there is almost a gathering or drawstring . How chic $995
- Love the gorgeous leather bags in pleating or ruching with gold handware and plaited straps. You can always wear a soft slouchy bag and I love the easiness of the shape. In the softest ever lambskin, it has a gold clasp. You can buy the tote with 2 handles or the one with a single strap about $1600.
- Buy my favourite black textured leather shoulder bag with a gold chain strap is begging me to buy it. It has a detachable long shoulder strap and it’s in that 70’s flap style and has amazing green lining so you can find your lip gloss with having a major hyperventilation. $1600. Also in caramel tan.
- Invest in the black peep toe classic pumps with a hidden platform : a great day shoe $750 and the black patent flat chic de la chic T bar sandals $595.
