In Memoriam, Nora Ephron, 1941-2012

Nora Ephron who started as a writer before moving into film as a director and being Oscar nominated for writing “Silkwood,” “When Harry Met Sally” and “Sleepless in Seattle,”  She directed eight films, the most recent of which was “Julie and Julia.”

“Beware of men who cry. It’s true that men who cry are sensitive to and in touch with feelings, but the only feelings they tend to be sensitive to and in touch with are their own.”
