This is a great idea. Bookcrossing is ‘the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise. Our members love books enough to let them go—into the wild—to be found by others. Here’s how it works:.
· Read a good book (you already know how to do that)
· Register it (along with your journal comments), get a unique BCID (BookCrossing ID number), and label the book
· Release it for someone else to read (give it to a friend, leave it on a park bench, donate it to charity, “forget” it in a coffee shop, etc.), and get notified by email each time someone comes here and records journal entries for that book. And if you make Release Notes on the book, others can Go Hunting for it and try to find it! In Australia there are 1635 books out there. Start looking.

Hilarious. Everyone is talking about this blog supposedly written by Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox. He calls Brad Pitt Hero. ‘Once upon a time, there was a little boy living in a refugee camp. Then, a princess came and took the boy to her castle in England. The princess and the boy lived happily ever after. The End’

The Shining Country by Kate Alexander. Fascinating story, takes reader to unfamiliar places…and easy to read!
