A frustrated interior designer? Go and play Design-A-Room on this site from The Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. You can (literally) rearrange furniture in the museum’s collection. “ Choose “Arts & Crafts (1865-1920)” and you could paper your room with a William Morris print, pick the perfect Stickley chair and accessorize with Tiffany stained-glass lamps. Or go to “Modern (1945-1970)” and hang a George Nelson clock over a Noguchi table. Unfortunately, you can’t mix movements, which is too bad because that Danish Artichoke lamp would look so right with the William Morris wallpaper”
