The New York Times’ “Great Summer Read” series continues with a 7 day excerpt of Truman Capote’s “Breakfast At Tiffany’s.” Candace Bushnell will read from the classic at Borders Books “I don’t eat breakfast,” Bushnell said, “but the first time I went to Tiffany’s, I felt like a hayseed.” The “Great Summer Read” series began on July 12 with F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby.” . “Like Water for Chocolate” by Laura Esquivel ran the week of July 26, and a final book in the series, “The Color of Water,” by James McBride, will appear in the paper starting Aug. 23.
