The Christmas List:
Ultimate Style: Best of the Best Dressed List by Bettina Zilkha Foreword by Eleanor Lambert
There is only one problem with this glamorous book: its about the cigarette on the cover . outrageous! Not glamorous Jan.(They must be in cahoots with Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter is vehemently pro smoking). Anyway don’t look at the cover but inside for all the most famous women from the best dressed list.I, of course, declined to be on the list but did in fact vote a few times when I was fashion Director at Elle. So that surely makes me intimately connected and first best friends with all the glamour pussies’ in this book “in this lavishly illustrated history of the Best Dressed List, a “who’s who” of the most glamourous women in the world. Featuring four to six of the top women from each decade, this spectacular volume explores the personal style of such fashion icons as Babe Paley in the 40s; Grace Kelly and Diana Vreeland in the 50s; Jackie O. and Verushka in the 60s; Twiggy and Bianca Jagger in the 70s; Princess Di and Tina Chow in the 80s; Sharon Stone and the Miller sisters in the 90s; Chloe Sevigny and Nicole Kidman in the 21st century.” Amazon Faaaaabulous!
