If you loved the memoir of Queen Noor (Leap of Faith) and you’re into a good biography this one by the late Shah of Iran’s (still alive!) wife should be a great read. It’s the book everyone is talking about probably because she sees her husband’s reign of terror through rose coloured glasses (hopefully Gucci) as you would. But it looks fascinating and apparently skims over the politics (thank god) and gets more into the glamour of her personal life which is what we really want to read about. $49 Leslie Mackay Books
NB: Bergdorf Blondes, the first book by Plum Sykes the contributing editor of US Vogue (who was paid $600,000 advance) will be out in April.
