Bought this issue on the strength of the last one and the new editor but it is not as good as last month.(Perhaps because there is a story on heating?) But read the very handy piece on flea markets in the UK and abroad. There is the amazing Rome apartment (that has already run in Vogue Living) of Luca Tommassini but you will love the story on Alberta Ferretti’s gorgeous 19th century palazzo by the sea in Italy.

A great issue with lots to read. Drool over Giancarlo Giametti’s beautiful Peter Marino apartment in Paris on the Quai D’Orsay “ I love having new houses, and I don’t like living in hotels” Know the feeling. Check out the story on Carolina Herrera and the interviews with friends and family. One of her daughter says ” My sister and I joke that our mother is dropped off on earth by an alien spaceship every day because to her everything is so effortless and easy” …Beam me up thanks. Also read the story on the chic Belgravia Duplex of the woman who has revamped the Mrs. John. L. Strong stationary company “ the Frette linen world of stationary”.
Vanity Fair Nov;
Jonny Depp is on the cover but this is the big Music issue. A great read, what can I say? The editor is on a campaign to get rid of Dubya and always runs a story anti bush. Thanks god. Read this months piece on: Could 9/11 have been prevented? But read a whole lot more especially if you love music…
