Outrageous Shoes! Surreal Heels!

Who: Outrageous Shoes! Surreal Heels!
What: Shoes have morphed into an art form unto themselves. Look for crazy heels, bright colours, ruffles, platforms, kooky accoutrements. No more boring black pumps. Please give them to your daggy sister in law.
Why: Because with simple, classic tailored clothes you need a little party on your feet. Because everyone needs something kooky down there. (Britney I am talking about your feet.) Because shoes are ageless. Because shoes ignore any sort of binge eating. Because they will always fit even after chocolate cake and cream. Because there is a surreal moment happening in fashion and feet are the safe way to embrace the trend. Because wearing surreal heels can let you express your crazy personality without looking like Cher.
Wear: With everything you own. Pencil skirts, leggings, trousers and shorts. Wear during the day or take them out to dinner so you have something to talk about.
Where: Marc Jacobs ‘misplaced heel’ shoes, Prada leather sandals $1,340, Yves Saint Laurent Hero stiletto sandals or Fendi for suede and plastic Runaway sandals $1,061. Or checkout the crazy Prada ruffled heels in the latest Milan show this week.
