I see lots of shorts, verycasual and some cool grey maile track pants. Buy the sheer chiffon cami in afab leaf style print in pinks and greens, rather chic $99. Also check out thefab flat T bar anklestrap sandals in gold or black $129 and the Prada ruchedstyle bag in a nylon with 2 straps and leather trim $169.There is also classic scoop neck T with puff sleeves $34.The lace trim satin cami is very simple and classic in black and cream and it’sfor all those people who didn’t buy one last year. Or the year before (that’show long I have been writing about them. Perhaps they are now to be viewed as aclassic). The black pencil skirt with buttons front is cool $99 and so are theblack skinny leg pants cut like a jean $99 and the chic black clutch bag withgold clasp $99.
Cue: Lots of chic little summer pieceshere. Best buys are the puff sleeve fitted jacket $259 in taupe or black; thefab black chiffon dress with a self belt and scoop neck ( an updated version ofthe little black dress seen in Whatswhat.com.au ads) $239; the black and whitesmall check cotton pants $219; the lurex short sleeve polo $129 and the blackand cream stripe jersey singlet top with a tie back, cute $69. Check out thecute little brown cotton empire dress with a ribbon trim about $239 and all thefine knits in great colours. I spy a Prada esque bag in cream canvas and a chocbrown trim $279 ish and a cool black and cream stripe tank with a drape frontand empire line $69. For those that dare : buy the the high waisted baggy creampants with a cuff $145 or the purple tie back cotton square neck top $109. Thecheck out the grey and navy stripe tie back singlet top and the beige cottontrench $369. The cotton gaberdine crop jacket is a great buy $239.
Esprit: check out the cute blackand white linen thin stripe classic trousers $99; the black simple tieredsundress in white or black $99 and the patch pocket shirt with ¾ sleeves in astripe too ( red and cream is fresh $69). There are cool red Balenciaga style Ttops with an emblem on the front $38; and buy the fab cotton pencil skirts with buttons down the front and sidepockets in khaki, black and beige- a must buy for summer $89. There are lots of jeans here as well tocheck out.
Just Jeans: There are some fabSeven jeans here in dark denim ( Just Jeans have bought the rights to Seven sothat’s why there are called Seven) for just $99 and check out the new andgroovy dark denim skinny levis $99- a must buy too. There are cute little whitecotton cami tops here for under $40 and also a cool beach hat $40.
Nine West: lots of great cheap butchic shoes here. Best buys are the flat toe thongs with an ankle strap in blackpatent, green suede or taupe $139; little elastic strap flat sandals $119 andthe chunky wedges a la Miu Miu $149. The bags here are great too. Also checkout the Studio Collection range which is more expensive : there are some fabnew wedges with a T bar and ankle strap in a choc brown $249; the groovy blackpatent wedges with a silver wedge insert and ankle strap $229 and a peeptoe andthe brown very Chloe platform with tan leather and wooden sole $299. And alsothere are clothes in here and I rather like the black cotton peacoat with chocwhite stitching and silver pressstud buttons $259. Cool.
Business Class:
Country Road: I see some fab Pradaesque dresses here that look great. In black or navy and red they have anempire and drape front with grosgrain blush coloured straps;$199. A great buy.Also check out the long caftan tops in black or white $159; the ¾ white or greycrop pants $129 and pleat tulip skirt with its own grosgrain belt is a fab buyfor summer and comes in lots of colours $129. There are cute little crop V neckknit cardigans $99; lovely cream with black trim, tie back contrast dress in anempire line $249; a cream cami with a black ribbon trim in a cross under theempire $129 and the fab lace trim cream blouse as previously reported. I seelots of pastels for casual weekend wear and linen too. I like the groovy baggydenim shorts $119 and the Chloe style ankle strap chunky wedges $179.
Maggie T – yes you read right- havedone some long linen caftan, very Marni style because they are oversized theywould look great belted. Infact they are Amanda Tabberer and are rather chic inchoc, black or white about $249. In the accessories department buy the standup totein camel $275 and the Sigersomn Morrison black stone encrusted flat T barsandals abput $170 and of course the fab floppy straw hat with a wire brim soperfect for the races or the beach . Buy the beautiful cream or black simple simple satincamisoles $129 with a scalloped edge in a cream or black ; the cream knit baggyround neck cardigan $129 and the very nice classic side pocket trousers $199.Check out the cute bubble drop waist skirt in black $229 with pockets – chic-and the fab little black and white ticking stripe shorts. Then check out thesale rack: I see the fabulous trapeze crop cotton trench jacket in light blueor brown now reduced to $125 ( was about $300) and the teal blue Prada esquesatin skirt with grosgrain ribbon trim $139 ( half price) . Not on sale butinvest in the white stretchy shirt with a double cuff $149 . A must buy. Plusthe choc brown side pocket pants $199.
Zimmerman: Lots of funky pieceshere. Check out the divine little cotton linen strapless dress with frontpockets and heart buttons in a beige or black $480; the cute short shorts witha belt in taupe $295; the brown and white stripe scoop neck top $ 225. Weekend Max Mara: Very conservativehere but worth checking out for investment pieces. Best buys are the pinstripetrousersuit jacket $1340; the white cotton ¾ jeans $320; the black drape lacetrim T shirt with asymmetrical under layer of chiffon, rather chic, $360 and a black and white print top with awrap and tie red belt $225 – a bargain. Also check out the cute double layercream T ‘s $230, and the stripe tops as well. I see a lot of pink and a few boho pieces.
