Two words that will instantly change your life: Super Rich. Is that superficial? No not when it’s about Dermalogica’s Super Rich Repair. Talk about the most intense, super-concentrated moisturizing cream. They say it “nourishes skin with critical hydration and locks in vital moisture, restores skin elasticity while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and defends against environmental assaults.”. I say it really seems to sink into those fine lines and soften up the skin. I say give me anything to defend against assaults. I say I love it and want to lather it on but beware it’s really thick and creamy and you don’t need much. But as Susan Gutfreund famously said in the 80’s “It’s so expensive to be rich”.

Beau Brummell : The Ultimate Man of Style …. by Ian Kelly
‘A frequent player in modern Regency romances, Brummell (1778–1840) is credited with originating modern menswear: the trousersuit with showy neckwear, in his case, a cravat. His rise to celebrity was rapid and he fell in with the Prince Regent’s fashionable set, quickly becoming a leader—one amusing chapter details how the dandies of the day would gather at his house simply to watch him dress. Later in life he was overwhelmed by debt and suffering from syphilis, fled to France, never to return.” Splendid . . . What makes this book much more than just a relaxed, racy biography is the way its author brings to life not just the man but also the time in which he lived.” Colin McDowell, Sunday Times”

Zucchini, Mint and Proscuitto Bruschetta …..from The River Café Green
Delicious on toast or just lovely topped on pasta this is perfect for a light lunch or as an entrée.
* If you are just making for 2 go lightly on the marjoram as it’s very strong.
You need for 6
1.5 kg zucchinis
3 tabs fresh marjoram leaves
2 tabs lat leaf parsley
1 tab fresh mint leaves
2 tabs of olive oil
3 garlic cloves (2 finely chopped and one to rub the bruschetta)
some sour dough bread or pasta
salt and pepper
2 slices of Proscuitto per person
·You need a frypan with a lid please
·Cut the zucchini length ways, then in half again. slices across and voila! you have made lovely little cubes
·Chop up the herbs together
·Zest the lemon or peel and slice the rind
·Pour a wine or two
·Heat the oil in a frypan
·Add the chopped garlic for a few seconds
·Then add the zucchini
·Stir and mix them keeping the heat up but don’t burn the garlic
·When the zucchini starts to look brown add half the herbs and some salt
·Pop on the lid and lower the heat and give it a little time, like 5 minutes to cook
·Remove from the heat, leave the lid on and let it just sit there a little more having a think for another 10 minutes so it really cooks and absorbs all those delicious flavours.
·Better pour another wine at this stage
·Add the rest of the herbs to the zucchini and half the lemon peel and season it with lots of sel at poivre.
·Grill or toast some bread
·Rub it with a fresh garlic
Drizzle with olive oil and then top with the zucchini , the rest of the lemon zest and serve with the proscuitto sitting chicly at its side like the perfect accessory it is.
Quite simply delicioso

Genre: A True Story it’s a drama with bikes…a date movie
The Plot: Burt Munro, a charming, penniless, cantankerous old coot from New Zealand heads to Utah at the spritely age of 68 to try to break motorcycle records on his Indian bike. Bless.
Acting: Anthony Hopkins is fantastic.
Photography: great shots of the salt flats of Utah.
Salon de Beaute: It’s supposed to be in the 60’s but doesn’t look it
Wardrobe: The black cross dresser in a skirt is hilarious.
Waterproof mascara: About 6 coats are necessary then use tissues.
Botox: Only for smiling at the charm of the movie.
Smooches: Apparently people over 60 have sex….
Blood’n’guts: Burt has guts to follow his dream and draws blood along the way.
Mistake #1: Burt purchased a car in California. Apparently he bought more than one nearly identical car. The license plates randomly change throughout the movie. Outrageous.
Car Chases: racing bikes are enough for any girl
Best review: “Hopkins portrays is a grizzled sunbeam sent to remind us all to follow the road to happiness, wherever it leads. ” LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL
Best worst review: “The film is so languid that at times you may find yourself wishing that Hopkins would eat someone’s liver.” LAS VEGAS WEEKLY
Rename it: Rocky …hits the Road
Moral to the story: You can and You will.
See it or donate to the Prada bag fund? See this charming, sweet, funny movie but warning warning! There is no sex, drugs or even car chases. Remember even if you never think you will ever achieve your goal of buying a Prada bag just keep persisting in your dream and you shall get there.
